This week, the two Mac Pro workstations in the Studio (SNM1 and SNM2) received upgraded hard drives and RAID arrays, to improve video capture and editing. After the past spring semester, when students high-definition video projects filled up the hard drive capacity of both computers, we saw that there'd be a continuing need for additional storage capacity.

Now each workstation has 3TB RAID array, to provide high-speed disk access and greater capacity for projects as student, faculty and staff members work this academic year on new multimedia and digital humanities projects.
