Final Cut Pro Studio 2 Installed

The Studio has just installed Final Cut Studio 2, the complete collection of Apple software for multimedia production. The applications now available include (from left to right):

• iDVD (for entry-level production of DVD-video)
• iMovie 6 (for entry-level production of SD or HD video--the classic 2006 interface)
• iMovie 9 (for entry-level production of SD or HD video--the revamped 2009 interface)
• Final Cut Express 4 (for mid-level video editing)
• Final Cut Pro (for advanced, high-end video editing)
• DVD Studio Pro (for advanced, interactive DVD-video programming and production)
• Motion (for producing video titling and animation effects)
• Compressor (for compressing audio and video into QuickTime- and MPEG-4-compatible web formats)
• Soundtrack Pro (for editing audio)
